Tasting Notes Platinum 4 Years:
Full bodied with a long, exceptionally soft & mellow finish
Fresh clean nose with hints of butterscotch, boiled sweets & citrus
Complex & balanced palate with butterscotch, coconut, fresh clean raisin & fruit
Nose of apple, fresh pineapple and a hint of sultana.
The palate is ripe and balanced well between sweet and smooth (banana milkshake),
dry (nut) and zesty (lime) with a rich finish hinting at molasses and coconut milk –Dave Broom
Tasting Notes Gold 6 Years:
Full bodied, complex and balanced with exceptionally long finish
Rounded complex nose of honeyed fruit, raisin, prunes and hints of spice with well integrated
toasty oak aromas
Palate of honeyed raisin fruit, dried apricot, spices and hints of dark chocolate with a soft
velvety texture
Gorgeous, complex nose with toffee, vanilla, butterscotch and chocolate all jostling for
position. Big, well rounded mouth filled with flavour as promised by the nose. Good
backing of bourbon oak. Complexity added from notes of ginger bread, citrus and more
vanilla. Rich, full finish. Gorgeous golden rum fully deserving gold - 2007 IWSC Judging

Tasting Notes Spiced 3 Years:
Full bodied, complex and balanced with every spice clearly distinguishable
Rounded complex nose of honey, clove and chocolate, cut with sweet citrus
Hugely spiced palate with every spice clearly distinguishable
A nose of orange zest, clove, aniseed & warm ginger cake/fruitcake. A mellow, lightly spiced
orange and ginger led palate which retains a fruitcake-like quality with honey & vanilla
balancing cinnamon & clove. Pleasantly spicy warmth through the long finish perhaps
reminds you of the 40% strength which is so easily overlooked on the soft palate. 5 *’s –
